The FIRE frame has a long history of great success.
It is built with the Columbus Custom Spirit tubing. The special section of the down tube has been studied to prevent troubles deriving from the use of a extremely lightweight and thin tubing.
The choice of the particular shapes applied on Spirit tubes derives from the technical needs to preserve stiffness by the elimination of the road shocks, also reducing the risk of cracks of lightweight tubing.
The frame is TIG welded with an exception only: the personalized seat lug. This part, along with the special bottom bracket shell, the original rear dropouts, and the "bell shape" seat stays makes the rear triangle properly stiff.
The frame is built according to an exclusive geometry designed by Tommasini, and it is protected with a special treatment named “cataforesi", extremely good to preserve from oxidation the thin tubing.
As usual, we ensure the maximum attention to detail.
The head tube can be 1-1/8” to match the FKT56 forks or tapered 1-1/8” 1-1/2” to match the FKTOS forks for rim brakes, the FKTOSDISC Disc Road for partially internal cables or FKTICS to match the ICS Disc Road versions for fully integrated cables. Weight for a 55cm frame approx. 1.550 kg
